End Human Trafficking
WOMEN OF COLOR FOR EQUAL JUSTICE filed a class-action lawsuit against THE CITY OF NEW YORK for the wrongful termination of thousands of employees who have the right to refuse to comply with certain Covid-19 Vaccine Orders issued by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (“NYCDOH”), which had no authority to issue because of federal preemption law.
If you believe you were wrongfully terminated due to vaccine mandates, click here to complete the religious exemption questionnaire.

WOC4EJ Lobby For Internet Child Safety Law in Maryland
Women of Color for Equal Justice advocates for stronger protections to ensure children are safe in the digital world. By engaging lawmakers, community leaders, and advocacy partners, we support legislation in Maryland that promotes responsible technology design, protects children’s privacy, and limits harmful online practices that target young users. Efforts such as the Maryland “Kids Code” seek to require online platforms to safeguard minors’ personal data, reduce manipulative features, and create safer online environments for children and teens. Through lobbying, public education, and coalition-building, we work to ensure that technology companies are held accountable and that Maryland families have greater protections against online exploitation and harm.
